Tarta de Santiago

Tarta de Santiago is a traditional dessert from Galicia, known for its rich, nutty almond flavor and moist, dense texture. It’s traditionally topped with a light dusting of powdered sugar in the shape of the Cross of St. James (Cruz de Santiago).  This dessert is often enjoyed by pilgrims after completing the Camino de Santiago.
